Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) is seeking a Senior Industrialisation & Facilities Engineer (Capital Projects) to drive capacity expansion and efficiency across manufacturing operations. The role focuses on identifying future capacity needs, building investment cases, and delivering capital initiatives that enhance production capability.

You will collaborate with engineering, operations and commercial teams to shape the manufacturing footprint, leading equipment, facility and infrastructure investments for

Qualifications

• Degree or HND in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience delivering capital projects within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, plant layouts and production systems.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop business cases and investment proposals to secure funding for manufacturing expansion projects.
• Lead capital projects from concept through to installation, commissioning and handover.
• Specify, source and implement new manufacturing equipment, systems and infrastructure.
• Establish and lead cross‑functional project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, risks and stakeholder expectations.
