Job summary

CMA Recruitment Group is supporting a well-established UK manufacturing business in Eastleigh, Hampshire with an Assistant Management Accountant. The role offers study support and clear pathways for progression, working alongside senior finance professionals in a collaborative environment.

Key duties include assisting with the month-end close, payroll processes, and management of AP/AR, with involvement in budgeting and financial analysis projects.

Qualifications

• Currently studying part-qualified or actively working towards relevant qualifications (study support available).
• Demonstrates strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Possesses good communication and teamwork skills with a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support the month-end close cycle through balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
• Assist with payroll processes and transition from weekly to monthly payroll.
• Manage transactional finance functions, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis projects.
• Support audit preparations and other ad hoc financial activities.
