Job summary

RBTG is seeking a professionally qualified tax specialist to lead end-to-end tax governance across the Group. You will partner with finance functions and external advisors to ensure compliant, well-controlled tax outcomes.

The role focuses on direct and indirect taxes, forecasting, and tax risk management, with a strong emphasis on process improvement and pragmatic advisory support for business initiatives.

Qualifications

• Professionally qualified tax specialist (CTA/ACA or equivalent).
• Significant experience in a Group or multi-entity environment.
• Strong technical tax expertise with pragmatic commercial application.
• Experience managing audits and external advisors.
• Confident stakeholder management at senior levels.
• Solid governance, documentation and risk management.
• Systems savvy with experience improving tax processes.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end tax governance and compliance across the Group.
• Provide senior technical leadership on direct and indirect taxes.
• Manage corporate tax compliance, provisioning, forecasting and disclosures.
• Oversee VAT and withholding taxes, filings and reconciliations.
• Review transactions from a tax perspective with accounting teams.
• Lead tax input into Month End and Year End processes.
• Coordinate external tax advisors and implement recommendations.
• Identify and mitigate tax risks with appropriate controls.
• Advise on tax impacts for business initiatives and projects.
• Drive improvements in tax reporting and automation.
