Job summary

Raceforce Global in Milton Keynes seeks a professionally qualified tax leader to own end-to-end tax governance for the Group. You will provide technical leadership, ensure compliance, and manage risk across direct and indirect taxes, coordinating with external advisors and internal finance teams.

You will oversee tax provisioning, disclosures, and year-end processes while driving process improvements and consistent tax treatment across entities.

Qualifications

• Qualified tax professional with strong corporate/group tax background.
• Experience managing direct and indirect taxes in a multi-entity environment.
• Proven ability to provide pragmatic tax advice in a commercial context.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for end-to-end management and governance of all direct and indirect tax matters across the Group.
• Act as the senior tax authority within Finance, partnering with Accounting and external advisors.
• Oversee corporation tax compliance, tax provisioning, forecasting and disclosures.
• Lead indirect tax matters including VAT and withholding taxes, filings, and controls.
• Review and challenge tax positions on complex or non-routine transactions.
• Manage Month End and Year End tax input and disclosures for accuracy.
• Coordinate external tax advisors and ensure practical implementation of recommendations.
• Identify and mitigate tax risks with proper documentation and controls.
• Support business initiatives by advising on tax impacts and structuring considerations.
• Drive continuous improvement of tax processes and reporting across entities.
• Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and advise senior management.
