Job summary

KRG Holdings Ltd in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, is seeking a Group Stock Controller on a full-time, site-based basis. You will own stock control and inventory across three sites and work with production, purchasing, planning and warehouse teams to ensure materials are available when needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a stock control, inventory or warehouse position.
• Strong attention to detail and a genuine focus on accuracy.

• Experience using MIS, ERP or stock management systems.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload.

• The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a wider team.
• A conscientious and reliable approach to your work.
• Previous multi-site or multi-business experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of stock control and stock accuracy across three manufacturing sites.
• Ensure consistent stock-control processes and reliable inventory data across each location.
• Manage stock movements in and out of the business, including Co-Pack stock.
• Control and monitor board, paper, corrugated materials, cores, consumables and finished stock.
• Complete regular and end-of-month stock counts across all three businesses.
• Consolidate stock information to provide an accurate overall group stock position.
• Monitor stock levels and proactively identify potential shortages or excess inventory.
• Coordinate stock transfers between sites where required.
• Investigate stock discrepancies, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records within the MIS system.
• Produce regular stock reports and KPIs for site and senior management.
• Work closely with production, purchasing, planning and warehouse teams to ensure stock availability supports production requirements.
• Help develop and standardise stock-control processes and best practice across the group.
• Identify opportunities to improve stock accuracy, efficiency and control.
