Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is assisting a well-established UK manufacturer in appointing a Group HSEQ Manager to lead Health, Safety, Environment and Quality across four sites in the UK. The role reports to the Technical Director and will oversee a team of QA Technicians, drive ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001, and act as main liaison with regulators and certification bodies.

This is a senior, strategic, manufacturing-focused position.

Qualifications

• Experience leading QA/HSE teams in manufacturing.
• Strong track record in ISO 9001/14001/45001 audits and certifications.
• NEBOSH certification or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel between sites and hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead Health, Safety, Environment and Quality across four UK sites.
• Own the HSEQ management system and ISO certifications.
• Manage internal and external audits; liaise with regulators and bodies.
• Develop QA Technicians across Ware, Coleford and Cleckheaton sites.
• Investigate incidents and drive improvements across the group.
• Maintain accreditations including CHAS and Constructionline.
