Job summary

Bristol Bears is seeking a Group Sales and Community Marketing Executive to grow group bookings through schools, clubs, and local businesses. The role emphasizes outbound outreach and relationship-building in Bristol and surrounding areas.

You will drive group experiences, support community events, and collaborate with Marketing to promote fixtures and campaigns, with a strong focus on customer service and attendance growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in a target-driven, proactive sales role.
• Evidence of generating new business beyond inbound enquiries.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable engaging with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop group ticket sales across schools, clubs, and businesses.
• Activate sales and matchday experiences to boost engagement.
• Meet revenue and ticket-volume targets for home games.
• Build a healthy sales pipeline in Bristol and surrounding areas.
• Identify decision-makers and turn cold prospects into relationships.
• Make outbound calls and visits, including unplanned meetings.
• Promote experiences beyond just tickets and drive bookings.
• Respond to inquiries promptly and guide from contact to booking.
• Develop repeat business with first-time bookers.
• Collaborate with Marketing to optimize offers and booking flow.
• Support group bookers and oversee matchday experiences.
• Distribute fixture posters and promotional materials locally.
• Maintain accurate records of prospects and activities.
• Find new audiences and ways to attract them to games.
