Job Title: Risk Management Specialist

Support the Director of Group Risk Management in minimizing liabilities and protecting assets through insurance and risk management programmes.

Main Tasks:

1. Support the DOGR in developing and implementing strategies to optimize risk financing and transfer solutions, including renewing global insurance programmes.
2. Assist in renewal processes by completing applications and providing supplementary risk information.
3. Manage relationships with global brokers and overseas businesses to ensure adherence to group policies on insurance procurement and broker appointments.
4. Oversee the collection, validation, and verification of renewal information to meet disclosure requirements.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders on insurable risks, enhancing understanding of insurance programmes and assessing risk profile changes.
6. Work with brokers to improve insurance administration processes.
7. Manage Pink Note, M&A, and due diligence processes related to risk management.
8. Provide technical support, including insurance advice, contracts, and certificates.
9. Coordinate property risk surveys, monitor risk improvement initiatives, and ensure completion of recommendations.
10. Assist in identifying emerging insurable risks and evaluating insurance solutions.
11. Support the generation of MI for executive decision-making.
12. Develop and support remote or Milton Keynes-based team members.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in insurance markets or risk management, managing complex global risk transfer processes.
• Proven leadership skills in risk management, financing, and transfer processes.
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Effective leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work independently and with diverse, geographically dispersed teams.
