Job summary

Altum Consulting in London is seeking an ACA-qualified Group Reporting Manager to lead group consolidation and statutory reporting across a multi-entity international operation. This role offers significant ownership within a high-calibre Group Finance function.

This position requires strong IFRS/UK GAAP knowledge, Big 4 exposure, and the ability to prioritise across a dynamic international environment. Immediate or short-notice availability is advantageous.

Qualifications

• ACA-qualified accountant with group reporting experience.
• Experience in Group Reporting, Financial Reporting, Consolidation or Technical Accounting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or UK GAAP.
• Experience preparing consolidated financial statements within a multi-entity group structure.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of the monthly, quarterly and annual group consolidation process.
• Preparation of consolidated financial statements and statutory reporting.
• Technical accounting support across the group, including accounting papers and policy development.
• Management of the year-end audit process and coordination with external auditors.
• Oversight of intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation and complex accounting matters.
• Support for finance transformation and systems enhancement initiatives.
• Collaboration with finance teams across multiple international jurisdictions.

An opportunity has arisen for an ACA-qualified accountant to join a growing international group in the maritime industry, headquartered in London as Group Reporting Manager.

This is a permanent position within a high-calibre Group Finance function and would suit an individual with a strong technical accounting and consolidation background who is seeking greater ownership and exposure within an international, multi-entity environment.

The business has experienced significant growth in recent years and is continuing to invest in its finance infrastructure, reporting capability and international operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ownership of the monthly, quarterly and annual group consolidation process.
• Preparation of consolidated financial statements and statutory reporting.
• Technical accounting support across the group, including preparation of accounting papers and policy development.
• Management of the year-end audit process and coordination with external auditors.

Candidate Profile
