Financial Reporting Manager

Lorien is recruiting for a Financial Reporting Manager on an 8-month contract. The role is key to delivering accurate and timely statutory and consolidated financial statements, including Group IFRS reporting. This is a fantastic opportunity to work cross‑functionally, support audit activities, and shape accounting policies in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of statutory and consolidated financial statements.
• Support internal and external audits, acting as a key liaison.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and ensure compliance.
• Resolve complex accounting issues and prepare technical papers.
• Own balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany analysis.
• Partner with divisional finance, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and more.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with post‑qualification experience.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical skills.
• Proven experience in financial reporting and team supervision.
• Excellent Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems.
• Clear communicator with a proactive mindset.
• Experience of working on a Group level.
