Job summary

Reed in London is seeking an interim Financial Reporting Manager to own statutory reporting, group consolidation and governance within a multi-entity structure.

You will partner with senior finance leadership to deliver accurate reporting across the group, manage external audits, and drive improvements in processes and systems. This long-term contract role offers hybrid working with exposure to a growing international business.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA or equivalent.
• 3–10 years' PQE in financial reporting or IFRS environments.
• Strong IFRS and UK GAAP knowledge across multi-entity groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual group reporting cycle.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements under IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Manage statutory accounts preparation and filing requirements across multiple entities.
• Own the external audit process, acting as the key point of contact for auditors.
• Review and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
• Ensure strong financial controls, governance and compliance across the business.
• Support technical accounting assessments and implementation of new accounting standards.
• Prepare board and executive reporting packs with insightful financial analysis.
• Partner with tax and treasury teams on reporting-related matters.
• Drive improvements in reporting processes, automation and financial systems.

We are partnering with a growing business seeking a technically strong interim Financial Reporting Manager to join its Function

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to take ownership of statutory reporting, group consolidations, external audits and financial governance within a complex multi-entity environment.

Working closely with senior finance leadership, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely reporting across the organisation while supporting process improvements, controls enhancement and finance transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual group reporting cycle.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements under IFRS and UK GAAP.

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.

• Experience within a multi-entity or international group structure.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced Excel capability.
