Job summary

Serco Plc in Hook, Hampshire is seeking a recently qualified finance professional to join the Group Reporting team on a 6‑month fixed term contract. You will support the consolidation, year‑end reporting and preparation of the Annual Report with exposure to IFRS and senior stakeholders.

This role offers the chance to broaden experience in a large, listed organisation, working with internal and external auditors and partnering with divisional finance teams to improve reporting processes.

Qualifications

• A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong experience in financial reporting and year-end processes.
• Experience contributing to Annual Reports or statutory accounts.
• Knowledge of IFRS and group consolidation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support year-end group reporting and consolidation.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly and annual group reporting.
• Contribute to the Annual Report and half year statements.
• Help coordinate the group year-end audit with internal/external auditors.
• Provide guidance to divisional finance teams on reporting.
