Group Reporting Accountant - London - Up to £70k

A fast-growing restaurant group based in central London is looking for a recently qualified (ACA) Group Reporting Accountant.

This role is suitable for someone seeking their first role out of practice with up to 3 years of post-qualification experience. Experience within hospitality or food and beverage sectors is advantageous but not essential.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working with numbers and analyzing financial data.

Duties:

1. Responsible for preparing and consolidating financial results across all business units.
2. Support month-end close processes, cash flow reporting, board pack preparation, assist in budgeting and forecasting, and serve as a key contact for external auditors.
3. Prepare and deliver Group and entity annual financial statements and coordinate statutory audits with the finance team and external auditors.
4. Ensure accurate intercompany transactions and eliminations across the Group.
5. Collaborate with operational finance teams to gather financial data and understand performance drivers.
6. Establish processes to monitor and maintain group consolidated cash flows, funding management, and scenario planning.
7. Assist in preparing annual budgets and midyear reforecasts in partnership with operational finance teams.

Experience & Qualifications:

1. Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent), recently qualified or with up to three years' experience.
2. Experience in hospitality, leisure, or multisite businesses is preferred.
3. Solid understanding of UK GAAP, FRS102, and IFRS, including experience with Going Concern papers.
4. Experience in preparing Group Consolidations.
5. Strong commercial acumen with proven stakeholder management skills.
6. Proficient in Excel, including Pivot Tables.
