About Our Client

A growing business with headquarters in Bournemouth.

Job Description

• Preparation of statutory accounts, including the group's interim and year-end consolidated accounts under IFRS.
• Main contact for auditors, ensuring all deliverables are provided.
• Coordinate with external accountants for subsidiary accounts, tax computations, and process management.
• Research and stay updated on accounting standards and assess their impact on the group.
• Monthly management accounts: prepare the group balance sheet and cash flow statement.
• Prepare the quarterly PLC financial Board report.
• Other responsibilities include cash flow management, quarterly tax payments, VAT return review, and bank covenant reports.
• Undertake ad hoc finance projects and support the Finance Director.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate:

• ACA or ACCA qualified, preferably trained with a top 20 accountancy firm and experienced in auditing.
• Up-to-date knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Experience in statutory accounts preparation and consolidations.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and numeracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Team player with effective communication skills.
