Job summary

Emotiv Technical Recruitment is seeking a Head of Quality to lead the Quality Department across the PLC and subsidiaries. You will drive compliance, conformance, and management of the Business Management System (ISO 9001/14001/45001) and ensure successful audits and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include leading global Quality teams, overseeing supplier quality, and driving KPI reporting and corrective actions to meet strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading ISO 9001 in B2C/B2B environments.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, 27001, 14001 & 22301.
• Knowledge of implementing IATF 16949 and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the compliance/conformance and management of the PLC and subsidiaries' Business Management System (ISO 9001/14001/45001).
• Lead Product Compliance/Homologation activities and COP clearance.
• Oversee internal and external audits; ensure corrective actions and approvals.

Job description

Lead the Quality Department. Lead the compliance/conformance and management of the PLC’s and subsidiaries companies Business Management system (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001), future iterations and other associated standard which facilitate the company’s ability to improve its business.

Key Responsibilities

Product Compliance/Homologation

• Product COP Clearance

Quality Management

• Lead the compliance and management of the Plc’s and subsidiaries companies ISO 9001 Management system, future iterations and other associated standard i.e. 14001, 45001, 50001, 22301 and integration of associated standards, such as TS16949 as agreed.
• Support the Compliance Officer & Legal Administrator in compliance and management of ISO 27001.
• Obtain commitment from the management team and stakeholder in supporting the 9001 management system and other associated standards
• Lead the customer complaint log and resolutions.
• Lead the subsidiaries in rolling out groups 9001 processes, scaling them where appropriate.

General

• Manage Quality Team (Globally)
• Support & Advise Board/Management Team, Subsidiaries & Staff on all matters pertinent to the above compliance & conformance requirements.
• Ensure internal audits are performed for relevant standards to ensure company process are implemented and improved.
• Ensure external audit are performed and supported maintaining relevant approval
• Report as required to the management team in line with relevant standards
• Lead the development of associated processes and practises driving efficiency
• Lead the departments Lesson learnt and continuous improvement programme
• Supporting the Supplier Acquisition and Management team in Supplier assessment and approval.
• Member of the Department Management team.
• KPI reporting

Person Specification

• Minimum 3 years practical experience managing and leading ISO 9001 compliance in a B2C & B2B environment.
• Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO 27001, 14001 & 22301
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 Implemented and managed ISO 45001, 27001, 14001 & 22301, 26262
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction.
• Decision-making skills, especially in high-pressure situations.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively.
