Metrea seeks a Product Lead for Decision Advantage Software to own the roadmap for situational awareness products. You will lead a team of Product Owners, collaborate with customers and senior stakeholders, and decide which features add the most value while navigating deployment in regulated environments.

The role involves cross-functional collaboration, strategic prioritization, and delivering an interconnected product ecosystem across defense domains.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Position Summary

AsProductLead–Decision Advantage Software,you willbe responsible forbuilding the roadmap for our best-in-classsituational awareness products.You will collaborate withcustomers and senior stakeholders,collect as much information as you can about the opportunity space,and decidewhich features andinitiatives will add the most value to our users and customers.Youwilllead a team of Product Owners,aligningthe roadmaps andmaking critical decisions within the product area. The ideal candidateis an experienced product leader whounderstandshow to get to the signalthrougha lot of noise,prioritiseand continuously evaluateproduct developments,and is aware ofthe difficulties associated with deploying software in regulated environments.

What You'll Do

• Continuously evaluate the opportunity space, customer use cases, andMetrea’sstrategy and buildasuite ofindependentlyviableproductsthat also interoperatewithin an ecosystem

• Develop an understanding ofMetrea’sunique strategy, value propositions, and Firmware (see below),and ensure the team continues to develop in this area

• Spend time with users, customers, and other internal stakeholders to build your own intuition of ‘what good looks like’,as well as capture as much data as possible relating toyour products

• Continuously evaluate the health of the suite of products, ensure that they are delivering against their value cases, and course-correct when needed

• Establish and continuously improve systems of work, empowering your team to deliver in a complex environment

What You Bring

• Understanding of situational awareness/ decision advantagesoftware and its use casesishighlydesired,such asoperations room softwareorsensor-integrated data platforms,especially within the military / government sector

• Understanding of Agile software development, preferably within a complex product architecture where multiple versions are developed concurrently

This is a full-time non-exempt position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to6:00p.m. Hours and work shifts may changein accordance withdepartment and business needs. Exempt Employees must have the ability to be on-call and available, as business needs require. Non-Exempt employees maybe requiredto work over40hours per week with approval from the department manager.

WorkEnvironment

This joboperatesin an office settingandalsorequires you to occasionallywork ontheplatforms where our software is deployed (aircraft,operations centres, etc.)

Travel

Travelwill berequiredfrom your base location of London to our other site in Harwell. You may alsobe requiredto visit partnersand the sites where ouraircraftoperatewhich may be within the UK or abroad.
