Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group, a leading UK food manufacturer, seeks a Procurement Buyer to support indirect procurement across IT, HR, and Factory Services. You will meet suppliers, lead contract negotiations and tenders, and implement supplier agreements from start to finish.

Based at the Head Office in Birmingham, you will be on-site three days per week and play a key role in driving strategic supplier partnerships.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' experience in a procurement role, leading negotiations and tenders end-to-end.
• Knowledge of indirect procurement categories, supplier negotiation, and tendering processes.
• Direct procurement experience considered.
• MCIPS qualification or working towards it is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager/Head of Procurement with RFIs, RFQs, and ITT documentation.
• Source new suppliers and materials.
• Negotiate with suppliers.
• Implement category plans.

About the Role

As a Procurement Buyer, you'll be part of a team focused on Indirect Procurement Categories in IT, HR, and Factory Services. Your typical day-to-day will include meeting with suppliers, leading contract negotiations & tenders, RFI's, and iplementing supplier agreements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Manager/Head of Procurement in preparing RFI, RFQ, and ITT documents
• Source new Suppliers and Materials
• Negotiate with Suppliers
• Implement Category Plans

About You

Ideally you will have demonstrable experience in Procurement, and ideally some experience with supplier selection & negotiations, as well as tender management. We are looking for someone ambitious who is eager to learn as there are a range of high-profile projects to support, as well as the chance to join a business widely known for its internal progression & development opportunities.

Key Skills

• Previous 1-2 years experience in a Procurement position as a Buyer leading contract negotiations and tenders from start to finish
• Ideally some knowledge of Indirect Procurement Categories, Supplier Negotiation, Contract Management & Tendering, with a desire to be client facing and visit & develop relationships with suppliers.
• Direct procurement also considered as skills are transferable.
• MCIPS Qualification / equivalent or working towards is beneficial but not essential.

The role is based at our Head Office in Birmingham, with an expectation to be on-site 3 days per week.
