Job Description:

Princes is seeking an experienced Process Engineering Manager for our Long Sutton site. The main responsibility is to optimize the main process plant across our Food & Drink divisions, ensuring process consistency, yield improvements, and implementing best practices in process standards.

• Lead process optimization for vegetable hydration, batch processing, filling, raw material handling, juice and syrup batching, carbonation, pasteurization, and clean-in-place systems.
• Establish and maintain process standards in liaison with OEM specialists, evaluate new technologies, and improve plant yields and efficiency.
• Develop expertise through shopfloor shadowing and liaise with operations and engineering teams.
• Manage data from process systems and define process capabilities relating to product specifications.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, manage change, and coordinate trials and validations.
• Ensure safety and compliance in process modifications and equipment changes.
• Collaborate with OEMs for process enhancements and new process plant developments.

Role Dimensions:

• Develop process expertise and liaise with OEM specialists.
• Handle data and define process capabilities.
• Assess process parameters impacting product quality.
• Work on yield measurement and process improvements.
