Job summary

Harvey John Recruitment is seeking a Group Payroll Manager in Redhill for a hybrid role. You will own end-to-end payroll across a multi-entity group and lead a Payroll Administrator, ensuring accurate and timely processing.

The role covers year-end activities, benefits administration, and ongoing process improvements within a growing organisation; you should be capable of handling high-volume, complex payroll across varying frequencies and be ready to start within 1–2 weeks.

• Experience as the primary payroll lead (number 1 in payroll).

Group Payroll Manager | Hybrid-Working

Temporary/Contract Redhill, Surrey £50000 - £60000 per annum 3018

This is a superb, newly created role for an experienced Payroll Specialist to own the end to end Payroll process and make it your own.

This is initially a 12 month fixed-term role but it could have scope to go on longer for the perfect person.

Your key duties will centre on…

• Running end to end Payroll in a multi entity group setting
• Administration of year-end Payroll activities
• Administration of benefits
• Reviewing existing Payroll processes and continually improving within a growing organisation
• Leading a Payroll Administrator

The ideal candidate for this role, will…

• Have substantial end to end Payroll Management experience (ie. not just data inputting)
• Be comfortable with high-volume and complex Payroll (varying frequencies)
• Be analytical and have an eye for improving systems and processes
• Have substantial experience operating as "number 1" in Payroll
• Be available to start a new role within 1-2 weeks of being offered one
