Caron Group is seeking a Group Operational Support to provide flexible, hands-on operational help across Wales. The role supports Operations Directors, Regional Managers and multiple care homes in Wales, focusing on care delivery, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
The post requires Level 3 Health & Social Care or equivalent, plus experience in care homes. You will move between homes as needed, contributing to quality improvement and operational performance.
Caron Group is a family of care homes across mid and south Wales. Our ethos is to provide quality care and to ensure that privacy, dignity and choice for our residents is at the core of everything we do. We are proud to be a business that has continuously grew over the past twenty four years and we firmly believe our best is still to come.
Our residents and their families are at the heart of everything we do. We strive to provide tailored care to the requirements of each of the individuals residing with us, celebrating their individuality and enhancing their quality of life.
At Caron Group, we believe our people are our most valuable asset and our success is attributed to our inspired and dedicated team members who share our passion for providing exemplary levels of care, embrace our vision and actively work to enable us to realise our ambitions. The group offers a friendly, supportive environment of teamwork, respect and integrity where everyone makes a valued contribution.
We are looking for a Group Operational Support who is practical, adaptable and comfortable getting involved. The successful candidate should be equally confident supporting a care team, reviewing care documentation, helping a manager prepare for an inspection, looking at staffing or occupancy information, or stepping into a home that requires additional management support. They will need to be organised, approachable and able to work independently, while understanding when matters need to be escalated to the Regional Operations Manager or Operations Director.
The Operational Assistant will provide flexible, hands-on support to the Operations Director, Regional Operations Managers and care homes across Wales.
This is a varied role requiring a strong understanding of care delivery, care home administration, regulatory compliance and commercial performance. The postholder will be expected to move between services according to operational need, providing practical support wherever it is most required.
The role is intended to provide development towards future operational management responsibilities, with an expectation that the postholder will work towards a Level 4/5 qualification in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care. Where required, the Operational Assistant will also provide temporary management cover within a home during periods of management absence, within the scope of their competence and any applicable regulatory requirements.
Please note that the post holder will work on a pan-Wales basis, providing operational support across the group as required.
The postholder will be expected to undertake and successfully work towards an appropriate Level 4/5 Leadership and Management qualification in Health and Social Care as part of their development within the role.
