KennedyPearce Consulting is assisting a client in London/Gate area to recruit a Group Management Accountant. The role involves preparing monthly management accounts across entities, variance analysis for FP&A, and supporting financial reporting including P&L, cash flow and balance sheet.

The candidate will handle prepayments, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and provide insights to support strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts for multiple entities.
• Provide variance analysis to FP&A.
• Support financial reporting including P&L, cash flow and balance sheet.
• Calculate prepayments and accruals and reconcile monthly balances.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support key decisions.
• Prepare forecasts and budgets for stakeholders.
• Identify and implement finance process improvements.
• Collaborate with department heads on financial plans and cost control.
• Assist with year-end audits and external auditors.

Job description

Our Client seeks a Group Management Accountant to join their business in a permanent role. This Organisation is experiencing continued growth both organically and through acquisition therefore it would suit a candidate who enjoys working in a proactive, fast paced environment. The Group Management Accountant would have a broad remit including the preparation of monthly management accounts for all entities, financial analysis on gross profit and financial reporting. Strong experience in gross profit and revenue is essential for this role.

• Duties of the Group Management Accountant include:Prepare monthly management accounts.
• Supplying the FP&A with variance analysis
• Supporting financial reporting which includes P&L accounts, cash flow and balance sheet. Providing detailed analysis.
• Calculating prepayments and accruals
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliation
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support key business decisions.
• Support providing forecasts and budget information to key stakeholders.
• Identify areas of process improvements and support and implement finance processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with department heads and senior management to review and develop financial plans, budgets and cost control.
• Attend meeting with cost centre measures.
• Support systems with new acquisitions.
• Supporting external auditors

• Requirements for the Group Management Accountant role include:CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified/QBE
• Experience supporting multiple finance systems and projects.
