Job summary
Frazer-Nash Consultancy is seeking a Group Leader for a software-focused group in the Southwest. The role is based in Bristol or Gloucester, leading an application software team supporting data science and modelling, turning analytics into production software for diverse industries.
You will oversee the full software design lifecycle, manage client relationships, and drive growth through new business opportunities while delivering projects to schedule and budget.
Qualifications
- Degree level qualification in a relevant academic area.
- Knowledge of software delivery lifecycles and methodologies.
- Experience with data science, AI or modelling.
- Experience in Defence and Energy industries and in developing new clients.
- Experience leading groups and delivering projects to budget and schedule.
- Chartered status is advantageous.
- Pre-employment screening and UK National Security Vetting clearance may be required.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the software group, ensuring delivery across the full Software Design Lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Data Science/Modelling teams to turn models into production software.
- Engage with customers across Defence and Energy sectors to deliver value on time and within budget.
- Provide visible leadership to the group and to customers.
