Job summary
Frazer-Nash Consultancy in the Southwest region is seeking a Group Leader of Software to head a new development-focused team based in Bristol or Gloucester. The role oversees the software design lifecycle from requirements to testing, delivering bespoke production software for energy and defence sectors.
You will lead the group, drive software delivery excellence, and collaborate with Data Science and Modelling teams to turn models into robust applications, with a focus on customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Degree level qualified in a relevant academic area.
- Knowledge and experience of software delivery lifecycles and methodologies.
- Knowledge and experience of a range of software languages and technologies.
- Knowledge and experience of data science, AI and/or modelling.
- Knowledge and experience of the risks associated with delivering software services and products.
Responsibilities
- Lead the new software group across the full software development lifecycle.
- Support Data Science and Modelling teams to turn models into production software.
- Develop new client relationships and deliver projects on time and budget.
