Job summary

The Institute of Cancer Research invites applications for a Group Leader to lead a component of ICR-CTSU’s portfolio of cancer trials. You will join an established faculty and guide ongoing studies while developing new trials, with scope to grow a team and shape the unit’s direction.

Working closely with the Director of ICR-CTSU, you will contribute to the scientific life of the Institute, mentor junior researchers, and help secure funding for innovative clinical trials on an international stage.

Qualifications

• Higher degree in medical statistics/biostatistics or allied field.
• Significant experience as a clinical trials statistician or biostatistician.
• Ability to lead a Clinical Trials Unit based research group.

Responsibilities

• Lead a component of ICR-CTSU’s portfolio of clinical trials.
• Mentor junior colleagues and provide academic leadership.
• Collaborate with international and national leaders to extend the unit’s portfolio.
• Generate research funds and disseminate findings at conferences and in publications.
