Group HR Business Partner – West Cornwall / Hybrid – £60,000

This appointment represents an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to take the helm of an established HR function, lead and develop the existing HR team and take ownership of the Group's people agenda.
The Group HR Business Partner will work closely with Directors and senior leadership teams to shape and implement HR strategy, whilst remaining hands‑on and visible across the organisation.
The role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis, with three days on-site and two days working remotely, alongside some travel between Group locations.
The business is headed up by an energetic and entrepreneurial senior leadership team, so this will be no ordinary HR appointment. This is an opportunity for an experienced Group HR Business Partner to influence people strategy, strengthen HR processes and make a genuine impact across a growing organisation.
The successful Group HR Business Partner will be an experienced senior HR professional with a strong generalist HR background and proven experience of leading and developing an HR team.
You will have strong knowledge of UK employment law, with hands‑on experience across employee relations, recruitment, performance management, HR policy and wider people management. Experience of working with senior leaders, ideally at Board level, is highly desirable.
Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-building skills are essential, together with the confidence to provide pragmatic HR advice and challenge where appropriate.
Applicants should ideally hold CIPD Level 5 or above, or equivalent, and have experience working within a larger, multi‑site or fast‑moving commercial environment. Experience using modern HR systems and HR technology would also be advantageous.
