Job Description:

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Group Health & Safety Manager. You will lead, develop, and maintain the health & safety strategy, ensuring all workplaces and activities comply with relevant legislation and are safe and healthy.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures across the group.
  • Conducting risk assessments and safety audits regularly.
  • Promoting a positive safety culture among employees.
  • Investigating incidents, accidents, and safety observations with a preventative approach.
  • Keeping the business updated with health and safety legislation and communicating changes.
  • Coordinating and delivering health and safety training.
  • Leading health & safety meetings and acting as the main contact for external bodies.
  • Reporting to leadership and ensuring compliance.

Required knowledge and skills:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of UK health & safety legislation (HSAWA 1974).
  • Experience in a health and safety role, preferably in manufacturing or field services.
  • Experience in risk assessments and safety audits.
  • Experience in developing and implementing safety policies.
