Citadel Source is delighted to partner with a leading PLC to support the recruitment of their new Group FP&A Manager.
Our client is an established UK-based organisation, with a significant presence across the country. The business is continuing to invest in its finance function with a particular focus on systems and data-led decision-making, creating an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join the organisation in a visible role, based in the Bristol office.
Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll take ownership of budgeting and forecasting, ensuring the business has a clear and reliable view of financial performance and future direction. You'll play a key role in broader transformation initiatives, taking ownership of the financial planning and reporting system and identifying opportunities to enhance its capabilities, streamline processes and improve data quality and efficiency. The role is primarily focused on partnering with Finance stakeholders, taking ownership of driving accountability, improving processes and optimising systems. A key part of the remit will be ensuring that changes are effectively implemented, embedded and adopted across the Finance function, with a dedicated focus on supporting and driving improvements within Finance, rather than the wider business.
You'll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with a strong background in FP&A and systems. You'll understand the drivers of business performance and be confident working with senior stakeholders, building relationships and constructively challenging thinking. You'll also bring a strong continuous improvement and change management mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities, lead transformation initiatives and take people with you. You're as comfortable thinking about how systems and processes can work better as you are translating financial information into meaningful business insight.
