VP Manager | Internal Audit & Accounting Recruitment

I’m currently hiring for a VP to join the Group Reporting team at a leading global investment bank. This is a high-impact, visible role that sits at the intersection of technical accounting, disclosure design, and financial reporting transformation.

This isn’t a standard group reporting role! You’ll be helping shape how the bank presents its financials to the market in response to evolving IFRS and regulatory requirements. You’ll work on interpreting new standards, designing external disclosures, improving reporting processes, and engaging with senior stakeholders across Group Finance, Regulatory Reporting, Investor Relations, Risk, and Change.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement external disclosures for new accounting or regulatory changes
• Lead dry-run processes and work with global reporting sites to gather complex financial data
• Support the Group’s quarterly and annual reporting cycle, including preparing sections of the published accounts
• Produce accounting papers and presentations for senior leadership and the Audit Committee
• Collaborate across the business to ensure reporting readiness and alignment
• Drive process improvements, automation, and control enhancements within Group Reporting

What we’re looking for:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Experience in group financial reporting within a large financial institution or banking environment
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS and external disclosure requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly to senior stakeholders
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a continuous improvement mindset
