Job summary

Responsibilities

• Own the group consolidations and lead monthly, quarterly and annual close.
• Deliver the group-wide statutory accounts and lead the Group audit.
• Coordinate annual tax filings with external advisors.
• Streamline and improve the monthly close cycle with robust checks and controls.
• Oversee the accounting team including revenue recognition and SaaS ARR reconciliations.
• Maintain accounting policies and track changes in standards.
• Partner with stakeholders to improve the reporting process.
• Liaise with external auditors to ensure a smooth year-end audit.
• Lead on incorporating AI developments for future requirements.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing finance team.

Who’s the business

Zanda is partnering with a high growth SaaS business with an ARR of £65million based in London who are operating globally across the UK, Europe and US. Investor backed, they have ambitious global growth plans and are looking for a Group Financial Controller who can instill rigor and control as they scale, alongside leading and developing a high performing team.

You will take ownership of global accounting and controls, with responsibility for statutory compliance and audit readiness. Ensuring financial integrity, you will lead the close and consolidation process, oversee external audits, and ensure best in class SaaS revenue recognition whilst optimising processes and driving system improvements. You’ll play a pivotal role in leading and developing the team and supporting the business on its journey to a successful exit. The business is based in Central London and they are in the office 3 days a week.

What experiences you will gain
