Job summary

Energy Aspects Ltd. is seeking a Group Financial Controller to lead accounting, financial control and treasury across the group. This hands-on senior role reports to the CFO and drives high standards of financial stewardship during a period of growth, funding cycles and acquisition integration.

You will own the close, statutory reporting, revenue recognition, and intercompany funding while coaching the Controllership team and delivering cross-entity consolidation with strong governance.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of broad accounting/control experience.
• Deep IFRS and UK statutory knowledge with multi-entity consolidation.
• Strong knowledge of subscription revenue and IFRS 15.
• Experience with P2P/payroll controls and treasury.
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification.
• ERP/Finance systems experience; Sage desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own Group close, consolidation, GL integrity and balance-sheet reconciliation standards.
• Oversee Group close and R2R process ownership and close orchestration.
• Own accounting policies, revenue-recognition accounting, deferred-revenue governance.
• Own statutory reporting, external audit, tax/VAT and transfer-pricing governance.
• Own operational treasury: cash positioning, intercompany funding, covenant monitoring.
• Own Finance-side P2P and payroll-accounting controls.
• Maintain Group Finance policies and chart-of-accounts governance.
• Lead Group Controllership team across locations and drive resilience.
• Drive automation and standardisation with Finance Ops & Systems.
