Job summary

EA FIRST LTD Group seeks a Group Financial Controller to lead the statutory consolidation and IFRS reporting across the group, including half-year and year-end closes. You will ensure accurate, timely, and compliant reporting and act as the primary contact for external auditors.

With an ACA qualification and proven experience in large, complex group structures, you will oversee consolidation journals, inter-company eliminations, variance analysis, and internal controls.

Qualifications

• ACA qualified with strong experience in group consolidation and statutory IFRS reporting.
• Experience in large, complex group structures and oversight of inter‑company eliminations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end consolidation for half-year and year-end
• Prepare Group and UK statutory financial statements ensuring IFRS compliance
• Review and validate subsidiary submissions
• Prepare and post consolidation journals including inter-company eliminations
• Perform detailed variance analysis on consolidated results
• Act as primary contact for external auditors
• Ensure strong internal controls over group reporting and consolidation adjustments
• Provide IFRS accounting treatment expertise
