Job summary

EDF power solutions UK & Ireland is seeking an accomplished Group Financial Controller to lead financial reporting, governance and control across the UK & Ireland. The role sits in a high‑impact leadership team, partnering with the CFO and executive stakeholders to enable growth and value creation.

You will drive consolidation, statutory accounts, external audits and continuous improvement of financial systems and processes, helping shape the finance function for a growing renewable energy

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with UK GAAP/IFRS knowledge and external audit management.
• Experience leading financial control, consolidation, reporting and governance in a complex multi-entity org.
• Proven ability to influence executives and lead high-performing teams.
• Experience delivering finance transformation and system enhancements in capital-intensive environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead Group Financial Control, ensuring top-tier reporting, governance, compliance and control for UK & Ireland.
• Advise CFO, Executive Team and shareholders, providing financial leadership and challenge for strategic decisions.
• Oversee consolidation, shareholder reporting, statutory accounts and external audits.
• Drive finance transformation and continuous improvement, strengthening systems and control environment.
