Job summary

LHH is hiring a Group Financial Controller in Chorley for a fast-growing, PE-backed technology business. You will own Group reporting, statutory compliance, treasury, and tax coordination across an international group, reporting to the CFO.

The role involves leading audits, consolidations across multiple entities, and driving governance improvements while supporting acquisitions and international growth. Hybrid work with 1–2 office days per week.

Qualifications

• Strong technical accounting and Group consolidation experience.
• Experience managing audits, statutory reporting, and multi-entity environments.
• Private equity-backed, technology or high-growth business experience would be advantageous.
• Commercially minded, hands-on, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly and annual Group reporting and consolidations.
• Prepare statutory accounts and manage the external audit process.
• Oversee intercompany accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial controls.
• Manage Group cash flow, treasury, banking relationships, and covenant reporting.
• Coordinate tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Support M&A activity, acquisition integrations, and strategic growth projects.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and governance enhancements.
