Job summary

Strand Hill is seeking a senior finance leader to own Group reporting, consolidate UK and European entities, and act as IFRS expert across the organization.

You will partner with senior stakeholders, drive improvements in controls and finance systems, and lead a high-performing reporting team through monthly, quarterly, and annual closes.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading Group financial reporting within a complex organisation.
• Significant experience preparing consolidations across UK and European entities.
• Strong technical IFRS knowledge, including consolidated financial statements.
• Experience within real estate investment management, property investment, real estate private equity or an alternative asset management environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate complex accounting issues clearly.
• A proactive approach and a passion for improving processes and developing teams.

Responsibilities

• Leading the Group financial reporting function, ensuring timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.

• Preparing and reviewing IFRS consolidated financial statements and statutory accounts.
• Acting as the business's technical IFRS expert, advising on complex accounting matters, acquisitions, restructurings and new accounting standards.
• Leading the year-end audit process and managing relationships with external auditors.
• Driving continuous improvement across reporting processes, controls and finance systems.
• Leading and developing a high-performing financial reporting team.

Reporting to the FD, you'll play a key leadership role, owning Group reporting, technical accounting and consolidations while partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the business.

The Role
