You might not be actively looking for a new role. But if you’re an experienced Financial Controller who would move for the right level of ownership, complexity and opportunity to make an impact, this is worth seriously considering.
SF Partners is working withan established, multi-entity business based in Birmingham to recruit aGroup Financial Controller. Our client is continuing to grow and evolve through acquisition, so now is the perfect time to be joining!
This isn’t simply a role focused on producing the numbers!
You’ll take ownership of financial control across the Group, lead and develop a multi-site finance team and play a central role in integrating acquired businesses, strengthening the control environment and improving how finance operates across the organisation.
Why might this be worth a move?:
You’ll get the breadth and influence. You’ll also inherit meaningful Group-level responsibility, but you’ll also be a key person in driving continuous improvements. With multiple entities, acquired businesses to integrate and opportunities to further strengthen and automate finance processes, you’ll have the scope to shape the function rather than simply maintain it.
It offers the opportunity to combine the technical foundations of a senior controllership role with people leadership, acquisition integration and finance transformation – with enough complexity to keep the role interesting.
Not actively looking? That’s absolutely fine. If the scope sounds interesting and you’d like to understand more before deciding whether it’s worth exploring.
