Job summary

Wade Macdonald is recruiting a Group Financial Accountant for a large international group with a UK presence. You will strengthen financial control, support multiple finance teams and ensure robust statutory and regulatory compliance across a complex group structure.

The role requires ACA/ACCA qualification, strong technical accounting knowledge (FRS 102), and experience in multi-entity environments with audit coordination and high stakeholder engagement. Hybrid working is offered.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA or ACCA
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, especially under FRS 102
• Experience producing statutory accounts and working with auditors
• Experience in a multi-entity environment and strong stakeholder management

Responsibilities

• Act as a key point of contact for internal and external auditors
• Oversee preparation and delivery of Management Accounts across a large portfolio of entities
• Support finance teams to enhance financial controls and embed best practice
• Ensure statutory and regulatory reporting obligations are met accurately and on time
• Provide technical accounting guidance on reporting standards and complex accounting matters
