Group Financial Accountant - Belfast

MCS Group are looking for a Group Financial Accountant to join a global professional services company based in Belfast.

The Role:

As the successful Group Financial Accountant, you will be reporting to the Senior Finance Manager and will be responsible for the following duties:

• Production of weekly key financial information reports for the management team
• Working as part of a team to deliver month-end group consolidation and reporting

• Reconciliation of critical balances, including multi-currency GL accounts for global inter-office accounts.

• Production of month-end reports for the Group and each office globally

• Maintenance of month-end processes and procedures to ensure smooth and timely operation
• Participate in system/process upgrade projects, including testing, training and documentation

• Other duties as outlined in the full job description

The Person:

The successful Group Financial Accountant will have the following characteristics:

• Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
• Practice or industry background
• Strong technical accounting ability
