Tiger Recruitment in London is seeking a technically strong Group Finance Senior Associate to join during a pivotal reporting period. You will focus on group consolidations, IFRS compliance and supporting the external audit process to ensure accurate, auditable financial statements.

The ideal candidate will have strong group reporting experience, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Experienced in group reporting and IFRS consolidations.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and working knowledge of UK GAAP.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Background in financial services or professional services preferred.
• Highly analytical, organised and comfortable working independently to tight deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Develop Excel models to validate group consolidation figures and investigate discrepancies.
• Review financial statements to ensure compliance with IFRS and reporting requirements.
• Prepare technical accounting papers covering impairment, merger reserves and complex transactions.
• Review lease accounting and reconcile local GAAP to IFRS across group entities.
• Liaise with external auditors and ensure all supporting documentation is accurate and audit-ready.
