Job summary

Ipsum, based in Chorley, is seeking a Group Finance Business Partner to strengthen group reporting and controls. The role involves working with senior stakeholders, providing high-quality accounting support, and contributing to business growth in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with practice training, strong technical accounting knowledge, and robust Excel/reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA with practice training.
• Experience preparing statutory accounts for a Group.
• Strong technical accounting and control skills.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end reporting and preparation of financials for board meetings.
• Support with tax compliance and submissions (VAT, Corp Tax, PAYE, PSA, P11Ds).
• Maintain Group financial controls and standardise Group reporting processes.
• Assist Group treasury activities including payments, credit cards and expenses.
• Monitor divisional compliance with accounting standards and policies.
• Implement new or updated accounting standards across the Group.
• Support ad hoc projects including potential acquisitions.
