Opportunity: Group Finance Manager

A fantastic opportunity now exists for a Group Finance Manager to join a cash-rich and investing FTSE 250 company. The successful candidate will be based in a central London location with hybrid and flexible working arrangements. Reporting directly to senior leadership, this role offers a broad and comprehensive group finance experience, providing exposure across the global group.

Key Responsibilities

1. Statutory Financial Accounting: Manage half-year and annual financial reports in accordance with IFRS & FRS101.
2. Management Accounting: Produce management reports and perform related analysis.
3. Financial Controls: Maintain strong financial controls and oversee their continuous improvement.
4. Cash Flow Analysis: Play a key role in consolidating group cash flows and related analysis.
5. Auditor Relations: Manage relationships with external auditors.
6. Forecasting & Budgeting: Lead group forecasting, budgeting, and analysis processes.
7. Multi-currency Consolidations: Handle multi-currency consolidation work.
8. Variance Analysis: Lead analysis of group performance against budgets.

Candidate Profile

We seek top talent with a strong academic record and a formal accountancy qualification (or overseas equivalent), ideally gained within a top 8 accountancy practice. Candidates may be seeking their first role post-qualification, or already working in a group finance, financial reporting, or budgeting role and looking for a new challenge.
