Job summary

Forge Talent is partnering with a leading consumer-focused retailer to recruit a Group Senior Finance Manager. This high-visibility role sits in the Group finance function, driving commercial performance and strategic decision-making across the business in Manchester.

You will own FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis, while partnering with senior commercial and finance stakeholders to translate financial insight into action.

Qualifications

• Strong grounding in management accounts, budgeting and forecasting.
• Excellent financial modelling and Excel skills.
• Ability to connect operational performance with financial outcomes.
• Experience turning data into clear insights and actions.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key commercial finance partner to senior commercial and finance stakeholders.
• Own FP&A activities: reporting, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
• Lead Group management accounts and performance reporting for the Board and senior leadership.
• Oversee planning, reforecasting and cash flow management across the Group.
• Support investor, lender and external stakeholder reporting where required.
• Communicate Group performance, outlook and priorities clearly to leadership.
