Job summary

Pointer Ltd. is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Group Finance Manager to join on a 15-month Fixed Term Contract (maternity cover).

You will oversee group reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial control for UK and overseas entities, working closely with the Group Finance Director to deliver accurate reporting and drive process improvements. The role blends technical accounting with business partnering, offering opportunities to influence decisions and drive continuous

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant or equivalent experience.
• Experience in management accounting, group consolidations, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience supporting year-end audit and financial control activities.
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence with financial systems and reporting models.
• Eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly Group reporting and consolidation across UK and overseas entities.
• Prepare management accounts, budgets, forecasts and cash flow reports for designated Group companies.
• Deliver meaningful financial analysis and commentary to support performance and decision-making.
• Coordinate year-end audit activities, compliance requirements and statutory reporting.
• Support overseas finance teams to ensure consistent, high-quality reporting.
• Maintain strong financial controls, reconciliations and intercompany processes.
• Identify and implement process, reporting and systems improvements across the Group.
