Senior Finance Recruitment Specialist within the Tech, Media, Telecoms and Professional Services Sectors

About the Company

My client is a fast growing Technology business that is looking for a high performer to join their Group Finance function in a role with a focus on Consolidation, Technical Accounting, Statutory Reporting and System Process Improvement.

About the Role

This is a great opportunity for someone who has previously worked in the Big 4 and in industry who is looking to take their technical skills and expertise and put them to work in a fast-growing scale-up environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of the company’s consolidated and entity-level balance sheets, identifying irregularities or inconsistencies with the profit and loss statements or cash flow.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for accounting queries or guidance
• Gain a thorough understanding of the corporate structure and intercompany relationships.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with the shared services team
• Become proficient in the company’s consolidation system
• Maintain an organized approach to audit trails and documentation, ensuring clarity and compliance.
• Proactively enhance processes by identifying areas for improvement, implementing efficient workflows, and establishing robust controls and governance.
• Contribute significantly to the preparation and audit of group and local statutory financial statements.
• Participate in key projects, such as the integration of acquisitions, system implementations, and other strategic initiatives as needed.

Location: Central London (3 days a week)
