Job summary

Cranswick plc is seeking a Group Finance Graduate to join the Group Finance team based in Hessle, Hull. You will gain hands-on experience across reporting, forecasting, treasury, consolidation, VAT, and analytics while studying towards your ACCA qualification.

Qualifications

• A degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related discipline.
• Commitment to pursuing ACCA qualification and a long-term finance career.
• Strong Excel skills and numerical data handling.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work well in a team and take ownership of responsibilities.
• Proactive, diligent and eager to learn.
• Experience with Power BI, Navision or Tagetik is advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use.

We're looking for an ambitious Group Finance Graduate to join our Group Finance team based in Hessle, Hull. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a variety of finance disciplines whilst studying towards your ACCA qualification. Working alongside experienced finance professionals, you'll gain exposure to financial reporting, forecasting, treasury, consolidation, VAT, and business analytics, helping you develop your technical finance skills. You'll also have the opportunity to experience different areas of finance across the wider Cranswick Group, providing a well-rounded foundation for a successful long-term career in finance within a growing FTSE-listed business.

What You’ll Be Doing

Working within our Group Finance team, you'll gain hands-on exposure to a broad range of finance activities, including:

• Internal reporting and analytics
• Group consolidation
• Treasury and cash flow forecasting
• VAT
• External reporting and statutory accounts preparation
• Financial planning and performance analysis

Supported throughout your ACCA qualification, this programme will give you the technical expertise, commercial awareness, and practical experience needed to build a successful long-term career in finance.

Who We’re Looking For

• A degree (or equivalent qualification) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
• A desire to build a long-term career in finance and a commitment to studying towards an ACCA qualification.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with numbers and data.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team while also taking ownership of your own responsibilities.
• A proactive, diligent, and enthusiastic approach with a genuine willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A placement year, internship, or previous finance-related experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Navision, or CCH Tagetik would be beneficial.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle insured for business use.
