Job summary

Impact HR is hiring a Group Management Accountant to coordinate financial reporting across the group, delivering accurate management accounts and strong controls. The role sits at the centre of the finance function, with senior leadership contact and Finance Managers across the group.

This part-time, remote position offers autonomy in a growing SME. Key duties include consolidation, monthly management accounts, and providing clear financial insight to leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience producing management accounts within an SME environment.
• Experience working within a multi-entity or group structure.
• Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or AAT) or qualified by experience.
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Experience using Xero or similar cloud accounting software.
• Strong Excel skills (including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs).

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely financial reporting to support leadership decision-making across the group.
• Monthly responsibilities include: monthly management accounts across group entities and consolidation of group reporting.
• Posting accruals, prepayments, depreciation and journals as required.
• Reviewing revenue recognition and deferred income; balance sheet reconciliations; group-level reporting.
