Job summary

Cooper Parry Finance Recruitment is supporting a long-established family-owned business in Fife to appoint a Financial Controller with a route to Finance Director. The role spans the finance function across multiple entities, reporting to the owners and balancing strong financial control with commercial input.

• Senior finance leadership experience within a group/SME environment.
• Strong management reporting, budgeting and cashflow expertise.
• Proven ability to balance strategic input with hands-on delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the finance team.
• Own management accounts, budgeting and forecasting.
• Oversee year-end, audit and statutory compliance.
• Manage cashflow, treasury and banking relationships.
• Provide commercial insight and financial analysis to leaders.
• Strengthen controls, reporting and processes across the group.
• Support acquisitions and strategic projects.
