Job summary

Search is seeking a part-time Financial Controller to join an established business in Edinburgh. Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, this role is broad and commercially focused, overseeing the finance function across multiple entities while balancing strategic input with hands‑on delivery.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience in Financial Controller, Finance Manager or similar role.
• Experience across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
• Analytical skills translating financial data into business insight.
• Commercial, resilient mindset with stakeholder influence.
• Experience leading finance transformation initiatives.
• Experience overseeing investments or investment reporting.

Responsibilities

Search are supporting the recruitment of a part-time Financial Controller to join an established business in Edinburgh. Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, this is a broad and commercially focused role with responsibility for the entire finance function across multiple entities.

This opportunity would be well suited to an experienced Financial Controller or an ambitious Management Accountant looking to step into a more strategic role. The role offers a genuine blend of strategic exposure and hands‑on finance, providing regular interaction with senior decision-makers while remaining closely involved in reporting, forecasting, cash flow and financial control activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead the finance function across multiple group entities
