Job summary

Alexander Daniels Finance Recruitment in Leicester is partnering with a growing multi-site business to appoint a Group Financial Controller to lead the operational finance function and strengthen financial governance. Reporting to the CEO and collaborating with the executive team, you will own month-end reporting, cash forecasting, balance sheet integrity and ensure compliance across sites.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with multi-site finance experience.
• Strong track record in financial reporting, consolidations and controls.
• Experience leading large finance teams and influencing stakeholders.
• Commercially aware with ability to translate numbers into strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the finance team across multiple sites.
• Oversee financial operations, controls and monthly reporting.
• Produce timely management accounts, KPIs and analysis.
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and statutory reporting.
• Lead year-end audit activities and regulatory compliance.
• Develop cash flow forecasts and working capital management.
• Support funding activities and interactions with lenders.
• Provide financial insights to drive growth, investments and acquisitions.
• Assist with integrating acquired businesses into reporting frameworks.
• Drive improvements in systems, reporting, governance and risk.
