Job summary

Greenwich Partners Limited is assisting a leading global investment bank to hire a Strategy Analyst for the Group Strategy team in London. You will support the strategic development of the bank across geographies and provide the Board and senior management with actionable insights.

Key duties include group strategy and planning for the division, inception and execution of strategy projects, detailed planning and analysis, and presenting findings.

Qualifications

• Background in strategy consulting with a major firm.
• Strategy analysts from financial services backgrounds.
• Investment bankers looking to move into corporate strategy.
• Genuine interest in global banking and markets.

Job description

We are now working with a leading global investment bank. They are now looking to add a Strategy Analyst to their Group Strategy team. They have a huge business operating across numerous geographies and regions.

The team provides the Board and senior management with advice relating the strategic development of the bank globally.

You can expect to work on the following:

• -group strategy and planning for the division
• - supporting the inception, definition, design and execution of strategy projects.
• - detailed planning, structuring, analysis, write up and presentation.
• - supporting leadership in setting and articulating strategy and addressing key strategic themes and initiatives for the division
• - supporting the MDs of individual business units with key projects

They are interested in meeting people who will have a background as follows:

• strategy consultants with one of the major consulting firms
• strategy analysts from other financial services firms
• investment bankers looking to into corporate strategy

The successful candidate does not need financial services experience.

The role will probably suit someone with 2-4 years experience
