Job summary

RELIANCE GARAGE (RYEDALE) LTD in Malton is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join the accounts team. You will assist the Group Accountant in preparing the Management Accounts across the group, covering routine duties in stock, debtors, creditors and fixed assets.

The ideal candidate will hold an AAT Level 4 and have excellent Microsoft Office skills; motor trade experience is welcome but not essential. This is a full-time, office-based role offering a company pension and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Excellent Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Group Accountant in preparing the Management Accounts across the group.
• Cover stock, debtors and creditors reporting and controls.
• Manage fixed assets, accruals and prepayments.
• Handle VAT reporting and composite reporting.
• Support P11d preparation and audits.

• Accruals and Prepayments
• VAT Reporting
• Composite reporting
• P11d
• Audits

The ideal candidate will hold an AAT Level 4 qualification. You must have excellent Microsoft Office skills. Motor Trade experience is desired but not essential.

This is full time, office based.
